• Implemented flight-management, accounting and automated-execution cronjob APIs.
• Integrated third-party airline and distributor APIs — Vietnam Airlines, Amadeus, Sabre, Jetstar, Scoot, AirAsia and more; coordinated directly with partner teams.

R&D Software Engineer — DeFi at scale

• R&D Software Engineer, full-time, hybrid, Hanoi — May 2022 to present. Krystal is a multichain DeFi platform (swap, LP management, vaults) from the Kyber Network group.
• DeFi platform: build the Krystal DApp (EVM-focused: exchange, liquidity management, provisioning and automation) — React + Chakra UI frontend, Go microservice backend on GCP; the platform peaked at $15M AUM, 100k MAU and 20k DAU.
• Revenue: integrated Socket Bridge with revenue sharing, adding a cross-chain bridging revenue line; integrated OneID and Web3Auth for identity and onboarding.
• Smart contracts — Krystal Vault: build an asset-management vault that interacts with LP, staking and other strategies, live on 7 EVM chains and peaking at $1.5M TVL (Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry); lead contributor (90 of 174 commits) to the public KrystalDeFi/krystal-vault-contracts-v2 repo; audited by Verichains (public report in the repo).
• Security hardening — V4 automation: designed the v6 EIP-712 signed-order schema; added replay guards, position-manager and protocol binding with hook and input validation, signed liquidity-slippage floors, and rejection of native-ETH sources and unauthorised selectors (Solidity, Foundry).
• Smart contracts — V4Utils: build contracts that make Uniswap V4 liquidity positions easy to manage, live on 9 EVM chains at one router address on every chain (Solidity, Foundry).
• Smart contracts — Subscription with NFT: build the contract that manages user subscriptions by issuing NFTs, on 2 EVM chains (Solidity, Hardhat).
• Wallet: Krystal Wallet Extension, a MetaMask / Trust Wallet-class wallet: multi-wallet management, portfolio tracking, swaps and LP transactions (React, Chrome Manifest V2 — V3 was still in beta).
• AI: Krystal Agentic System on ElizaOS — a chat agent through which users execute transactions and manage their vaults.
• Ownership & audits: own the vault contracts end to end — operate them in production and verify, fix and release every finding external auditors submit.
• Incidents & mentoring: handle production incidents end to end — diagnose, fix, communicate the resolution to users and execute on-chain remediation when contracts are affected; mentor a front-end colleague on code quality, scalability and performance.
• Launchpads: Krystal ILO (Initial Liquidity Offering) and liquid.fun (meme launchpad with liquidity-pool mechanisms) in Next.js + Chakra UI; maintain the Krystal Launchpad IDO (Initial DEX Offering) platform.
• Infrastructure & cost: reduced GCP infrastructure costs by 15% through service and ingress compression and tiered storage for Bigtable.
• Growth & SEO: build Krystal's landing page (Next.js + Chakra UI) with SEO optimization scoring 100/100 in best practices, SEO and accessibility and 88/100 performance.
